Linkable (“the App”) provides a marketplace and campaign management platform (“the Service”) to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects

Information accessed through Shopify APIs

When you install the App, Linkable automatically gains access to certain information from your Shopify store based on the permissions you grant. This includes:

• Store Information: Store name, store URL, currency, and timezone.

• Products: Titles, descriptions, images, variants, and inventory data required to power creator campaigns.

• Orders: Order IDs, timestamps, product SKUs, fulfilment status, shipping country, and order value, used solely to track and validate creator-driven sales. We do not access full buyer names, emails, phone numbers, or detailed addresses unless explicitly granted and required for commission validation.

• Discounts: Codes required to run affiliate-style campaigns and attribute performance.

• App Setup Information: Technical data required to ensure the App is installed, functional, and synchronised with your store.

These permissions are used exclusively to enable Linkable to operate as intended.

Information collected independently from Shopify

In addition to Shopify data, we may collect the following information:

1. Merchant & Account Information

• Name

• Business email address

• Store address

• Billing information (for subscription payments)

• Team member details if they access the App on your behalf

2. Creator Information

If you collaborate with creators through Linkable or approve requests:

• Names and email addresses

• Social media usernames, content links, and audience details

• Country of residence

• Stripe Connect payout details (collected and processed by Stripe)

3. Technical Information

We collect standard device and usage information:

• IP address

• Browser type

• Device information

• Time zone

• Cookies

• Log files (actions performed, date/time stamps)

• Web beacons, tags, and pixels for usage analytics and App performance

These technologies help us understand how the App is accessed and used.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use personal information to:

• Operate, maintain, and provide the Linkable Service

• Sync products, track creator conversions, and validate commissions

• Automate and process creator payouts via Stripe Connect

• Communicate onboarding updates, product improvements, or support messages

• Improve App performance and functionality

• Prevent fraud or misuse

We do not sell, rent, or monetise any Shopify or customer data.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share information only as necessary to operate the Service:

1. Stripe

For secure processing of creator payouts through Stripe Connect.

2. Service Providers

Cloud hosting platforms, databases, and analytics tools used to run the App infrastructure.

3. Creators / Brand Partners

If you approve a creator or collaborate with them, certain information (such as product details or shipping information for samples) may be shared to enable the partnership.

4. Legal Compliance

We may disclose information to comply with:

• Applicable laws

• Subpoenas

• Lawful information requests

• Fraud prevention

We do not share personal information for advertising networks or remarketing.

Behavioural Advertising

Linkable does not use behavioural or targeted advertising.

If this changes, we will update the Policy and provide opt-out mechanisms.

If you are a resident of the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold

• Request corrections or deletions

Your data may be transferred outside Europe (e.g., to the United States) where our service providers operate, under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your store uses the Linkable App and as required to:

• Maintain accurate payout and commission history

• Comply with tax, financial, and legal obligations

If you uninstall the App, merchant-specific data will be deleted or anonymised within 90 days, unless a longer period is required for legal compliance.

You may request deletion at any time.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect updates to our practices, new features, or regulatory requirements. The latest version will always be available within the App or on our website.
