Launching a campaign is the first step.
Onboarding your first creators is what turns it into something real.

This guide outlines a practical approach to getting your first 10 creators live on Linkable, using a mix of direct invitations, inbound interest, and light discovery.

What early success looks like

At the start, you’re not optimising for scale.

You’re looking to:

  • Get creators onboarded

  • See links being generated

  • Validate tracking and attribution

  • Build confidence in the setup

Momentum matters more than volume.

Step 1: Invite creators you already know (0–5 creators)

The fastest way to get started is with people who already know your brand.

This could include:

  • Previous creator partners

  • Brand ambassadors

  • Customers who have posted about your product

How to do it:

  • Create your campaign on Linkable

  • Open the Promoters section

  • Copy the invitation link

  • Share it directly via:

    • Instagram DMs

    • WhatsApp

    • Email

This helps you get your first promoters live with minimal friction.

Step 2: Use Instagram Stories to attract creators

Posting a simple Story can be an effective way to generate inbound interest.

Example:

“We’re opening creator partnerships for Darcy Skincare.
Apply here 👇”

Add your campaign invitation link using a link sticker.

Creators who respond are already interested, which makes onboarding smoother.

Step 3: Do targeted outreach

If you want to be more proactive, keep outreach small and intentional.

Good sources include:

  • Creators you already follow

  • Creators posting about similar products

  • Niche creators whose audience aligns with your brand

Best practice:

  • Reach out to a limited number of creators

  • Personalise the message

  • Share your Linkable invitation link directly

Outreach happens externally.
Onboarding and tracking happen inside Linkable.

Step 4: Enable marketplace discovery

If your campaign is public, eligible creators on Linkable can discover it and request to join.

In addition, Linkable automatically matches your campaign with relevant creators on the platform and surfaces those creators to you.

Each suggested creator comes with a short explanation of why they’re a good fit for the campaign, based on factors like relevance, audience, and past activity.

This allows you to:

  • Skip manual research

  • Focus on reviewing and approving creators rather than finding them

  • Make faster, more informed decisions

Marketplace discovery works best alongside direct invitations, especially early on.

Step 5: Share the campaign with your existing audience

If you already have an audience, you can also make your campaign visible through your own channels.

This could include:

  • A short mention in your newsletter

  • Sharing the opportunity on your brand’s social channels

This helps surface the campaign to creators who are already familiar with your brand and may want to get involved.

You’re not promoting a product here, you’re sharing a collaboration opportunity.

Step 6: Focus on getting creators live

Once creators join:
  • Encourage them to generate their tracking link

  • Share it in a way that feels natural to them

  • Start simple one post or link is enough

The goal is activity, not perfection.

A simple benchmark

Within the first 7–14 days, a healthy start usually looks like:

  • 5–10 creators onboarded

  • Links generated and shared

  • Clicks coming through

  • Clear visibility on performance

At that point, scaling becomes a deliberate decision.
